Cookie Policy

NepaleseWorker.com uses a single strictly-necessary session cookie. It is required for core functionality: keeping you logged in, protecting forms with CSRF tokens, remembering agencies you've added to the Compare tool, and (see §2 below) our basic profile-view counter. This cookie is not used for advertising and expires when your session ends or after a period of inactivity.

When you view a public agency profile, we record one entry per session per day against that agency, using the same session identifier as the cookie described above — no separate tracking cookie is set for this. This tells an agency how many people viewed their profile; it does not build a cross-site browsing profile of you, is not shared with advertisers, and is not used for any purpose beyond that single count.

On public marketplace pages, we may use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general navigation and interaction patterns). Neither is used for advertising, and neither is active on your agency, employer, or admin dashboard. These are not strictly necessary, so they only load after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit — declining, or taking no action, keeps them off. You can change your decision at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site (the setting is remembered as a small local-storage entry, not a cookie).

If enabled, Google Analytics 4 receives an IP-anonymised record of the pages you view and general session behaviour, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Microsoft Clarity receives similar page-interaction data, governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement. Neither provider is given your name or email by us through this integration.

We may include a Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools ownership-verification tag in the page source. These are static, inert meta tags used only to prove to those services that we operate this domain — they set no cookie, run no script, and collect no data about you.

Beyond what's listed above, pages on this site do not embed third-party trackers or advertising pixels. Any future embed (e.g. a CRM webform) will be disclosed here, with the provider named and an opt-out method described, before it goes live.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary session cookie will prevent login, form submission, and the Compare tool from working correctly. Declining analytics cookies has no effect on any core functionality.
